Privacy Policy

1. Controller

Pool Master AI LLC (John Liceaga), trading as MASTER POOL AI and operating from Spain, is the data controller. Data protection requests: hello@masterpoolai.com.

2. What we process

Account data: email, display name, username, avatar, skill level and language.

Gameplay data: matches, shots, accuracy, levels, points, drills and lesson progress.

Community data: club memberships and chat messages, venue applications and photos, reviews and photos, bookings, likes and reports.

Location data: only the country, region and city you choose for discovery, plus the approximate coordinates of the venues themselves. We never publish your precise position.

Billing data: subscription status and identifiers from our payment provider. We never see or store your card details.

Technical data: device and diagnostic logs needed to keep the service secure and working.

3. Why and on what basis

To provide the app and your account, and to run bookings, clubs and rankings (performance of a contract).

To screen profile pictures, review photos and venue applications with AI, and to handle reports (legitimate interest in a safe community, and legal obligations).

To send booking, club and community notifications you have switched on, and product news only with your consent (which you can withdraw at any time in Notification preferences).

To bill PRO subscriptions and keep accounting records (contract and legal obligation).

4. Sharing

We share data only with the providers that run the service on our behalf: cloud hosting and database, our Merchant of Record Paddle.com (sale of subscriptions, payments, invoicing, tax compliance and refunds), maps and geocoding, AI model providers for screening and coaching, and email delivery. They act as processors or, in Paddle's case, as reseller and controller of the payment transaction.

Public parts of your profile — display name, avatar, level, points and reviews — are visible to other members by design. Where a provider is outside the EEA we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account we remove your profile, community content and gameplay history, except records we must keep for accounting or safety reasons for the legally required period.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Write to hello@masterpoolai.com and we will answer within one month. You can also complain to the Spanish supervisory authority (AEPD).

7. Children

The app is not intended for children under 16. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by row-level security so members only reach their own data, and photos are stored in private buckets served through expiring links.
